The Tellardians have been helping people in the Huntsville and Sudbury areas for well over thirty years.
We have specialized in helping: devalued societal minority groups, people with disabilities, people coming from the correctional institutions, people on Governmental assistance.

The goal is to work with the person to help them develop personal strength and self confidence to overcome their obstacles. Too often an individual functions only within the limits he has had set for him or those that are self imposed. It is our hope to bring the individual beyond these limitations.  We offer varied programmes and activities design to aid them in attaining this goal. Our competent and skilled staff includes qualified teachers available to tutor and encourage individuals, who, for whatever reason, or reasons, have dropped out of the normal schooling system. It is our aim to guide them to higher education including university as well as community colleges

We offer a unique residential housing accommodation designed to foster individuality as well as personal responsibility. We have many activities that help promote physical exercise, with emphasis on healthy eating and living habits. Our endeavour is to develop: mind, body, spirit, in all the activities we undertake.

The Tellardians, as well as the above (experiences), offer a camping and outfitting component to their activities.  Some (of) events offered are: camping, basic wilderness skills, canoeing, boating, swimming, fishing, horseback riding, hiking, photography, interpretive nature walks, mountain biking, skating, snowshoeing  maple syrup making, as well as motor home trips visiting the various provincial parks throughout Ontario and Québec. All activities are designed to enhance the appreciation of nature as well as to develop a respect of our environment.
